Dealer Ignition Steve Wagner,CEO Dealer Ignition He's been in stealth mode, but ready to get things started with Dealer Ignition. While he's got several software projects underway, the one that caught our attention is his ability to create a marketplace for online advertising for the automotive industry. He's building a dashboard that will allow dealers who buy online advertising to determine where the best deals are on the Internet and then buy those spots. It encourages the manufacturer to co-op with a local dealer to drive potential car buyers to their websites and showrooms. In a $50 billion co-op advertising market, online has been a very tiny piece of the pie because it just wasn't possible to show how to make the connection. Steven tried to solve this problem working inside the sales and marketing effort of a “Big Three” auto manufacturer. Great weather and quality of life brought him to Greenville to launch his venture."We've already doubled staff and are looking for more sales, support and developers," he says.
